Bert Buyle, CEO EURAMEC and the Society of Indian Aerospace Technologies and Industries (SIATI) today revealed plans for EURAMEC’s new Regional Sales and Technology Centre in India.

The new centre is expected to open in 2020. Once open the combined R&D and Sales facility will include collaborative space for research and development with universities, SIATI’s aerospace business network in order to execute customized simulation projects and support EURAMEC’ standard product line.

The centre will focus on Flight simulation R&D to match world-class flight simulation solutions with the expanding aerospace business in India.

A recent report in The Times of India stated: “With India intending to buy 2,100 new aircraft valued at US$290 billion, together with infrastructure modernization, huge investments, an expanding air fleet and the growing domestic economy makes aviation the hottest sector in terms of career.”

Bert Buyle: “As India is the fastest growing domestic aviation market in the world for three consecutive years, we see the necessity to have a local presence here to support Euramec’s unique flight simulation product line and to take on customized projects cooperating with industry through a mutually beneficial Industrial Strategic Partnership.”

EURAMEC strongly supports India’s leading aerospace’s position at the forefront of technology development for the next generation of flight simulators.

Shivinder Singh joins EURAMEC as the Business Development Director for the India office, specializing in light to super mid-size business aircraft. Singh’s focus at EURAMEC INDIA LTD. will be maintaining the fundamental principles of comprehensive market research while promoting the company’s current exclusive offerings in Flight Simulation devices.

The Defence sector will be served by EURAMEC’s Defence team, to help face the persistent challenges in the active-component pilot requirements of the Indian Air Force and the Indian Navy.

The Bengaluru centre joins a growing list of EURAMEC Sales and Support Centres of Technical Excellence around the world. Each centre has a unique industry focus – and is supported by a clear digital strategy.
