5 4 3 2 1 Ignition Liftoff & Poof Into The Clouds! SpaceX launches the 31st Falcon 9 mission in 2021 carrying NASA’s science and resupply mission to the ISS on cargo Dragon C209 at 5:06 AM EST or 10:06 UTC from LC-39A on 12-21-21 with a very low cloud deck just above the launch pad and only 30% favorable weather conditions for launch.

Brand new booster B-1069.1 landed on JRTI down range making it the 100th first stage booster landing for SpaceX in six very short years on the anniversary of the very first landing. A tremendous corporate milestone for SpaceX, Elon Musk and team.

Congratulations

to the five college universities that are flying their science investigations to the ISS on this mission including Columbia, Clemson, North Carolina State and Idaho under the NASA sponsored (SPOCS) Student Payload Opportunity with Citizen Science Program.
