A gorgeous launch this morning on March 24th 2021 at 4:28 AM EDT or 8:28 UTC for SpaceX Starlink 22 with B-1060.6 flying and landing successfully on OCISLY down range and all 60 satellites have been successfully deployed. This completes the sixth flight for this first stage booster. Well done SpaceX, Elon Musk and team.
Per spacex.com/launches there have now been a total of 111 Falcon 9 launches with 71 landings and 54 reflown rockets.
Tremendous success in such a short period of time.
Not counting this new batch of 60 Starlink Internet satellites SpaceX had previously launched 1,325 Starlink satellites in their constellation before this morning with 1,261 still in orbit.
In 2018 SpaceX had estimated the price tag to be around 10 Billion dollars to construct their Starlink constellation over a 10 year period.
Congratulations to all involved for the continued success in this mission. Truly an outstanding effort.
