SpaceX announced at 9:37 AM EST today 1-23-21 that the Transporter 1 launch attempt was scrubbed due to unfavorable weather conditions. The countdown clock continued to T-30 seconds so that ground teams could acquire more data collection.
Just as the SpaceX announcement came out regarding the scrubbed launch attempt there was a brief partial clearing of the fog and rain over the launch complex as depicted in this photo. It quickly disappeared again from sight as additional light rain moved into the area.
SpaceX is poised with another historic world record attempt in launching and deploying 143 satellites during tomorrow’s Transporter 1 attempt!
Remote photos of the planned launch will be in future posts.
