Port Canaveral Florida was rocking rockets today in fact two very different but historic rockets & barges.

Fresh off its Hot Fire Green Run test the NASA SLS Artemis core stage with four RS-25 engines arrived from the John C. Stennis Space Center in Mississippi on an expanded & renovated Pegasus barge to be off loaded into the VAB building for eventual stacking with the SRB’s.

Also SpaceX booster B1061.2 which just successfully delivered the Dragon Endeavor capsule with Four NASA ESA JAXA astronauts to the ISS has now performed the “belly flop manuever ” or is horizontal. Transport back to Cape Canaveral for inspections and refurbishment will now take place for a hopeful third flight. Will it be used for Crew 3 only time will tell? OCISLY is off to the left of the booster.

It was a very cool day at the Port today!
