No pathfinder here only the real deal ULA first stage booster core and 2nd stage dual engine Centaur core has now been off loaded from Rocketship for the future first crewed NASA Boeing Starliner mission from LC-41 later in the 2021 year after a successful OFT-2 mission in July.
Two of three astronauts made an appearance and photo opportunity with ULA and Boeing team members. Astronauts Michael Fink and Barry Wilmore spoke to the media and are very excited to fly to the ISS on top of this ULA rocket and Boeing capsule estimated for late in 2021 after a successful OFT-2 uncrewed mission at end of July.
It was an exciting day to see this flight hardware off loaded at Port Canaveral and on its way to launch complex 41 for processing.
