NASA’s Mars 2020 Perseverance rover and JPL’s Ingenuity helicopter were launched on a United Launch Alliance Atlas V rocket from LC-41 Cape Canaveral Florida starting this journey to the red planet and Jezero Crater.
Today the midway milestone has been accomplished. Perseverance is now 146.3 million miles (235.4 million kilometers) from both Earth and Mars!

Keep looking up everyone!!
