On a beautiful blue sky late afternoon July 20th 2020 at 5:30 PM EDT or 21:30 UTC SpaceX Falcon 9 lifted off from launch complex 40 and successfully delivered ANASIS II communication satellite for the South Korea military into orbit.

SpaceX has also confirmed that it caught both fairing halves for the first time and re landed their historic first stage booster back on the autonomous drone ship JRTI Just Read The Instruction with a pinpoint landing out in the Atlantic ocean.

An extremely successful launch for SpaceX, Korea and the 45th Space Wing at Cape Canaveral Florida.

Remote cameras from the launch pad will be picked up mid morning on Tuesday the 21st. Stay tuned in for more launch images.
