What a beautiful time of day with storm clouds in the background as SpaceX Axiom 2 liftoffs off at 5:37 PM from LC-39A on Dragon “Freedom” capsule with a crew of four on May 21st 2023!
Mission Commander Peggy Whitson (American) a retired NASA astronaut now with Axiom, Pilot John Soffner from Alaska (American), Mission Specialist Ali Quarni (Saudi Arabia) and the first Saudi Arabian female astronaut Rayyanah Barnawi are all on their way for a ten day mission aboard the International Space Station. Two of the ten days will be traveling to and from the ISS.





















Congratulations to both SpaceX and Axiom Space teams on this liftoff opening greater access to space by countries and individuals.
