SpaceX launches record breaking 60th mission year to date from Cape Canaveral 12-28-22!

Finally a beautiful completely clear sky for the 60th SpaceX launch ytd 2022 (both coast) during Starlink 5-1 from SLC-40 Cape Canaveral Florida at 4:34 AM ET this Wednesday morning 12-28-22.

First stage Falcon9 booster B-1062 made it’s 11th flight into space and successfully landed on droneship ASOG that was in a rainstorm offshore east of the Bahamas just before liftoff for this polar orbit mission to start the 5th orbital shell of the Starlink constellation with 54 more satellites.

It was a stunning launch to watch. Congratulations to the entire SpaceX team on an incredible record breaking year!
